The case is made of 100% archival-grade polypropylene. This material is completely inert and does not react with acids or bases.
The CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc is inserted into a special push-up holder with the inner hole. By pushing down this connector, the CD/DVD/Blu-ray disc can be removed again.
The special thing about this holder is that the CD/DVD/Blu-ray is mounted in a swinging manner and neither the top nor the bottom of the CD/DVD/Blu-ray rests on it.
This prevents physical stress and scratching of the coated surfaces of the CD/DVD/Blu-ray and significantly extends the durability of the data storage media.
